Stoneform, a company set up by two former Weymouth College students Zoë Cull & Alex Evans. Zoë & Alex both completed the HND Applied Architectural Stonework course and now work together as Stoneform designing and making contemporary pieces in natural stone.

Sarah Pennel. Now a Fellow of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, Sarah completed a course at Weymouth College, followed by a four year apprenticeship at Salisbury Cathedral.

Dawson Colvert lives and works in Brentwood, Tennessee, where he is developing his architectural stone carving business. Dawson trained at Weymouth College in 2004 and worked on the "Welcome to Weymouth & Portland" pineapple as well as an enormous sheep sculpture - resulting in the following unlikely headline in the local press: "Prince to Unveil 17-ton Ram of Resort Craftsman".

Sarah Stewart-Smith attended the Architectural Stone Carving and Stone Masonry course at Weymouth College in Dorset where she learnt all aspects of the stone masons craft including lettercutting. She has since created pieces for the Eden Project in Cornwall and now works as an artist, lettercutter and stonecarver.

Damon Ayer, achieved his lifelong ambition of becoming a cathedral stonemason by training at Weymouth College, after which he went straight into a job at Lincoln Cathedral. His story is described in an article by a newspaper in his home town of Burlington, Virginia, which you can read here.

Mark Thompson, graduated from Weymouth College in 1991 having completed the City and Guilds in Architectural Stone Carving and Masonry. Since then Mark has been involved in restoration and conservation work at Lincoln's Inn Chapel and set up his business Capital Stone Carving.

Andrew Ziminski and Andrew Sharland, Directors of Minerva Conservation, met in 1991 whilst attending the Postgraduate Stone Conservation course at Weymouth College.

Simeon Warren now Chair of the Stone Department and Instructor at The American College of the Building Arts (ACBA) in Charleston, Carolina, he learned his trade as a stone carver at Weymouth College, gaining an Advanced Craft Certificate in Masonry from the City and Guilds of London Institute.

Gary Edwards and Barry Tripp learned the craft of stone carving in the 1980's at Weymouth College, where they earned Advanced Craft, the highest possible designation. They now work in California, where they run the architectural firm Millbrook Stone.
